One Last Project Complete

I have been very energetic this weekend.  I got three projects completed and this is my third blog this weekend also.  Wow...don't expect this to continue...lol.

I started and finished the transom window valance today.  Whoo whoo...I am so thankful for the energy that God is giving me lately.  I feel like doing things again and it is a wonderful feeling!

Here is the finished transom window valance completed.  You'll notice it is in the same pattern as the kitchen valance I finished yesterday (See yesterday's blog for visual).  I've been wanting to do this for years.

I had a really wonderful Mother's Day because I got to talk to my Mom and my Son both.  Mom is having fun in TN right now and my Son is doing well and told me he just got hired by Apple as an IT guy.  Too cool, huh?  He is getting to work from home also.  I'm really very proud of him.

Tom started my day out with a beautiful necklace and a really sweet card.  Here is the necklace he got me.  It was hard to focus on it for some reason...not sure why.  It is two infinity symbols and one is filled with little diamonds.

Tom spent today converting some old VHS tapes into DVDs for Mom and we were cracking up at Whitney trying to get Hannah (as a baby) to roll over again because she had seen her do it and knew that Daniel wouldn't believe it if she didn't capture it on camera.  She finally quit tormenting her at 8:18 pm when the poor thing looked so sleepy and worn out from trying to get Mr Squiggles (her toy).  We were totally amused by the Hannah videos.  Yeah Daniel and Whitney!  Thanks for the entertainment!

Here is some Max for today:

"Hang in There

By Max Lucado

“Those people who keep their faith until the end will be saved.” Matthew 10:22

Are you discouraged as a parent? Hang in there.

Are you pessimistic about your job? Roll up your sleeves and go at it again.

No communication in your marriage? Give it one more shot . . .

The Land of Promise, says Jesus, awaits those who endure. It is not just for those who make the victory laps or drink champagne. No sir. The Land of Promise is for those who simply remain to the end."
